BusinessCode cooperates with Deutsches Museum Bonn

By becoming a member of the WISSENschaf(f)t SPASS association, the Bonn-based IT service provider brings applied IT closer to schoolchildren during their school days and at the same time draws attention to the Bonn Museum.

Through its membership in the “Förderverein Wissenschaf(f)t Spass”, the Bonn-based IT service provider has laid the foundation for bringing pupils into contact with applied IT during their school years and at the same time drew more attention to the Bonn museum.

11 July 2019 “Beyond the pure membership in the “Förderverein Wissenschaf(f)t SpaSS”, we want to carry the topic IT application-oriented in schools. To achieve this, we rely, among other things, on the extensive offerings of the Deutsches Museum Bonn, to which we moved one step closer through our membership,” says Martin Schulze, Managing Director of BusinessCode GmbH, a Bonn IT service provider whose IT solutions are used by well-known customers worldwide and for whom the preservation of the Deutsches Museum Bonn is important.

“Our goal is to get young people excited about a career in IT at an early age. And IT doesn’t just mean programming games or web pages, but developing business solutions,” explains Schulze, who does this every day from his Bonn office with a team of 20 colleagues. The BusinessCoders know from experience how important it is to gain initial experience with the broad spectrum of application-oriented IT at an early stage in order to recognize how varied a job can be here and to set the course accordingly.

BusinessCode develops and sells complex software solutions for different industries, each of which is tailored to the requirements of the customer. To be able to do this, employees must be able to put themselves in the customer’s shoes. To do this, they must also have a broad knowledge beyond IT. “And this is exactly what we want to convey to our students through our commitment,” explains IT’ler Schulze. BusinessCode initially wants to invite pupils from grade 8 upwards to the Deutsches Museum Bonn and have robots built and programmed there.

BusinessCode is planning to become even more involved through its membership in the Friends of the Deutsche Museum Bonn and its workshops and to actively accompany the Deutsches Museum Bonn on its way to digitisation. “The Deutsches Museum Bonn must be preserved, here we can set interesting impulses with our knowledge and experience,” Schulze is sure.
