“Hybrid work Made by BusinessCode” – that is the name of the IT service provider’s organizational concept. An important part of the new work of the medium-sized company is the recently completed, modernised office space near the university.
Bonn, August 20, 2020. Home office, company bicycles as an offer for employees as well as worldwide project management from Bonn were already part of the everyday routine at BusinessCode before Corona. And so the changeover at the medium-sized IT company in Bonn was not very extensive in the last months, when the lockdown forced the colleagues into the home office. “We worked just as before, only 100% from the home office. The necessary infrastructure is in place, the communication channels are defined. Our customers didn’t notice any difference,” explains Martin Schulze, CEO at BusinessCode, the Bonn-based expert in digitalization.
Hybrid work made by BusinessCode
BusinessCode is an IT service provider and as such always closely involved in the customer’s projects, but not on site, but remotely. This strategy has proven to be the right one in the last months and has now been cast into a fixed concept. “For us, this concept of ‘hybrid working’ includes a modern technical infrastructure, in which we continuously invest, intelligent mobility, but also modern and safely designed workspaces,” Schulze makes clear. And it is precisely these that have recently been at the top of the IT experts’ agenda.
In the past few months, the offices “Am Hof” have been modernised and generously redesigned to create space for safe communication and to ensure occupational safety. “We already started last year with the modernisation of the meeting room. Now it was the turn of the kitchen and the social rooms. Our aim is to create a safe and spacious working environment in which the employees feel comfortable,” concludes Schulze.
BusinessCode as a pioneer for medium-sized businesses
“We are constantly optimising the mix of home office and office work as well as projects at the customer’s premises, always with our customers and the protection of our employees in mind,” summarises Schulze. “With the given measures, we can once again enable colleagues to meet personally in a safe environment”.
“Hybrid working” is known from large organisations, but has so far established itself rather tentatively in medium-sized companies. Corona has significantly accelerated this process, as BusinessCode knows, and they see themselves as pioneers for companies of this size.
